hi tony,
It looks better than easymax to me with its continuous readings ability... I'm going to use it for several projects. I would like to tell my solar journey that bring me to mppt. by the way i dont have any electronics knowledge. I bought some solar cells 8x1,5v500ma, 6x1,5v250ma and 6x4,2v100ma. i try to drive toy rc car with the solar power. it worked if you push them in the start

so i bought 2 autotrol dc motor 746rpm 12v 6-26ma operating power. because of the weight of 12v 320ma solar powered car motor couldn't perform very well. I began to search internet for valid solution and i found fatmax, easymax and solarfreaks.com.
First i want to play with my toy rc car with decent performance. After that i'm going to try real rc cars 1/18 1/10 with brushless motor or maxon (hard to find too and also expensive).
At last questions about automax:
it can give enough power for motors but lets say solar panel power is 12v 300ma and i have nimh battery 9,6v 600ma can automax charge them ?
With same panel 12v 300ma, can automax covert it to 1,2v 3000ma to feed 3A esc.
final question

how much does it coast ?
