hi

i have 3 broken cells left over from my panel but they dont have the connecting busbar down the front of them. this is buging me because its wasteful. can i do any thing with them? i have seen the instructions for making panels out of broken cells. can i connect fragments in parallel to make a larger cell if there is no bus-bar? the picture below shows what i am trying to do. it didn't work that time. on one site there was a suggestion to use metal stained-glass tape as a current collector and then solering to it?
