I am designing a battery charger which uses a 48V - 12V switchmode DC-DC convertor at 40A. I want to know what schottky diodes to use. What parameters do I have to consider. Any recommended part numbers ? Thanks in advance

Try this: Can handle 40Amps, Very low Vf, look at its Vf/I curve. Parallel them for more power.
