For those of you interested in the spec for the MPPT used by the dutch team Nuon (won the International solar challenge 4 times with this solar mppt), well here it is:

The 200 - 800 W MPPT uses an Active Snubber Circuit with zero-voltage/zero-current switching for all active semiconductors. The absence of almost any switching losses makes this converter ideal for solar cars and any solar power application which needs extremely high efficiency over a wide power range.

This solar maximum power point tracker is manufactured by Drivetek AG in Germany.

These are very good MPPT we also use them in our solarboat the furia one. We have eight of these, 200w per MPPT.
We won the dutch open solar challenge last june.

We also used the CAN bus on the MPPT's to display the power per tracker at the display and to send it via internet for the follow car.
