Lux vs Light Percentage

Postby Conitsiotis » Tue Oct 14, 2008 7:00 pm

I have been looking on the web and havent been able to find any mention of light as a percentage, and its comparison to a lux reading, the unit in which we measure our light levels for use on our AIMSCC Car. Does anyone have a conversion rate. If so that would be really helpful.

Thanks

Hi,

100% sunlight is equal to 1000W/m2 of radiance.
10% sunlight is equal to 100W/m2 of radiance.

So basically, if you want to convert lux to the light percentage, you need to convert lux to radiance than convert it back to a percentage.

Cheers.
