The A/C cable which supplies the gross meter from the inverter is run in flexible conduit which is tucked up under the ant capping approx 800mm from the ground.
Is this legal or should it be higher please?

AFAIK, the AC Cable can be close to the ground as long as its in conduit. However, the Circuit breakers need to be a minimum of 1200mm off the ground.
