Solar Freaks

Hello,

I am part of an Engineering Honours Project team from the University of Adelaide, Australia. We are designing a small
scale solar powered unmanned aircraft. I have specifications for our solar modules and batteries, and was looking for some urgent assistance in selecting an appropriate MPPT.

We need a boost MPPT where the solar module has an open circuit voltage of 4.08V, and Vmppt=3.45V, Imppt=4.72A. The battery pack is comprised of 4 Lipo batteries in series (4*3.6V=14.4V). I have been in contact with Genasun, however they indicated that there boost mppt's have a minimum required pv voltage of 5V.

If there isn't an mppt available for this application, are there any other off-the-shelf items that we could purchase to meet our needs, or overcome the issue of our low pv voltage?
