Hi Tony,

I just stubbled upon your website. It is very nice.

I would like to get a foldable solar cell pack for my next holliday. Now the problem arises. Most companies have no clue about proper chargers. I have e.g. a small netbook that needs 19V (or 100-240V AC when using the ac->dc converter), camera charger needs 100-240 V AC. Iphone has another requirement etc.

I have some idea's about how to get these device juiced up in the field. But I'm not sure if it is the right approach.
I can use a mppt to store energy in lipo's and use a dc-ac converter to get the device specific converters running. But I do not want to have so much gear and lose too much of the conversion efficiencies.

Is it possible for you to make a diy mppt kit that allows storage of energy in batteries? (and perhaps optional convert that to e.g. 230V AC?)

Cheers,

Nick
